Event Description Evaluation tools are essential to program results & are instrumental for hard data needed to support future funding. This workshop provides an overview of: surveys, structured interviews, focus groups, observations, checklists, case records, & program databases. We?ll discuss the purpose of each, advantages & limitations, key principles for creating simple & meaningful tools, common errors & how to correct them, how to use or refine existing tools & the interpretation capacity.
